This blog is to focus on lesser known indie wrestling and I dont plan to talk about wwe, roh, impact, mlw or njpw on a regular basis just due to everyone already discussing them, but with so much happening in wwe I figured I would break my own rule this time and talk about it.

AMW Ep. 137 Review

Hey Guys! Back with my first review and this will be a review of AMW Ep. 137.


Ill start buy saying that I have gone a few weeks without watching amw, so I was surprised to see that Jake Brake had turned heel and joined back up with Lemon Juice.

The show kicked off like most Amw shows kick off and thats with a match. We got Jake Brake vs Allen Brian, this match was basically a squash match and just really used to further Jake as a big powerhouse heel.

Next we got Sean Cruise cutting a promo on Kyle Madgard, and I will say it was a solid promo and it also led to the main event.

Next they showed a promo package for the former wwe star Eugene who will be debuting for Amw next month, it was a decent package that showed him wrestling a indie match, Im assuming they couldnt use his wwe stuff due to it being copy written.

This was a pretty heavy promo show because next we got A promo by the Heatseakers( Tag Champions) who will be facing the Rock N Roll express for the titles. If your familiar with lower tier indies( not companies like evolve pwg etc) than you will be familiar with Sigman who is really good on the mic, so this promo was good.

Guess what! Next we got a promo by Stan Serra( Heavyweight Champion) for his title defense against Beau James. Then we got a promo by Beau James, both were solid promos.

Finally we have our main event which was Mega Destroyer and Sean Cruise vs Kyle Madgard and if Kyle won he would get a match with Jake Brake. To be honest this could have been better Mega And Sean did double team a bit but it was mainly Kyle beating up both and both guys looking clumsy. The match ends with Sean hitting Mega with a chain instead of kyle and the kyle picks up the win.

I give this episode a 6/10 it was mainly a show to build up their 2 to 3 upcoming shows in that regard job well done but match wise it was just ok. As always ill link the episode below and thanks for reading ill be back with another review soon.

Update! Update! We are back!

Hey everybody! Sorry this blog has been dead for so long. For a while I wasnt sure if I was going to start it back up or not, I had sort of lost the passion for doing reviews and I didnt have much tome to work on my figure wrestling stuff the way I wanted to but im back and Im ready to give this a new shot.

To give you guys a idea of what will be coming in the next few weeks, there will be a review for AMW wrestling, Southern States wrestling as well as some new episodes of my figure wrestling promotion WVW.

Superstars of The Ring - 12/6/17

On this week show, big news about CCW Champion "The Outlaw" Jamie McKinnon's refusal to defend the CCW Title until Stampede. The American Prodigy vs. Logan Stevens and more.

The match between Prodigy and Stevens was actually a really solid match, dare I say the best match I have seen since I started watching CCW. I give the match a 7/10, its worth a watch for sure.

AWA Supreme Womens Championship Match

Hey guys. Sorry for the long absence but I am finally back with a new review and this is just the first of many.  This review will be of the AWA Supreme women's championship match between Scarlet and Hayley Shadows. And yes this promotion was called NWA Supreme until very recently.

When this match started off it was a bit slow and for the first 2 to 3 minutes it was just Shadows taunting the crowd to get some heat. Once the match started to get moving Scarlet worked the arm a bit and then we got some basic moves back and forth between the two( arm bars, hip toss, etc), Shadows got control after a while and then to me this was the best part of the match, Scarlet was put into a armbar and while in the arm bar she popped her arms out of the socket to get out of the arm bar, I definitely cant say that I have seen this before. After that Scarlet worked the leg for a while and to be honest during this whole match both ladies look pretty green The match ended when Shadows attempted to use a chain but Scarlet reversed and hit her with a big boot for the win, but the ref thought Scarlet used the chain so she got dq'ed. So your winner and still women's champion is Hayley Shadows.

I have to give this match a 4/10. It was decent but definitely slow alot but both women put on a good show for the fans and I did love that a lot of little girls were into the match which is always a positive because they could be the next Scarlet or Hayley Shadows.
